Free video classes on every area of Rock. Start with Rock 100, then take the classes for the work you do.
Classes build on each other: 101, then 201, then 301.
Start here. Learn how Rock is built so the rest makes sense.
This self-paced class gives you the mental model that makes everything else in Rock easier to learn. Rather than jumping straight into clicking, you will start with the foundational concepts that power Rock under the hood — entities, attributes, defined types — so that when you do start using Rock's features, you understand why they work the way they do.
Anyone who is new to Rock — whether you are a staff member just getting started, a volunteer administrator, or someone who has been using Rock for a while but still feels like they are guessing. If you want to know how Rock thinks, this class is for you.
Manage person records and know what's happening in your people's lives.
Everything in Rock hangs off the person record. This class shows you how Rock thinks about people, families and relationships, so the data your team relies on stays clean instead of drifting into duplicates and dead phone numbers. You'll leave knowing how to find anyone, fix anything and see the full story on a single screen.

• Reading and editing the Person Profile, including family and known relationships
• Using search, merge and duplicate detection to keep records clean
• Working with person attributes, notes, tags and following
• Understanding record status, connection status and person history
Build the groups your ministries run on and track who shows up.

Once you understand group types and the structure underneath them, you can model any ministry your organization runs without opening a support ticket. This class takes you from the group tree to attendance numbers leaders will trust.

See who's growing and follow up with Connections, Steps, Streaks and Sign-Ups.
Every organization has a gap between someone raising a hand and someone following up. This class covers the tools Rock gives you for that messy middle, from a connection request that needs a real person assigned to a discipleship path you can measure. You'll leave able to see who is moving forward and who quietly stopped.
Assimilation and next-steps staff, discipleship pastors, volunteer coordinators, care and prayer teams, and anyone accountable for follow-up that has to happen.
• Building connection types and opportunities, and working the Connections board

• Using Streaks to measure consistent engagement over time
• Managing Sign-Ups and prayer requests alongside the rest of follow-up
• Automating reminders and reporting on who has gone cold

Rock's agents answer plain questions, look up records and log notes for your team, all inside the security you already built. This class shows you what an agent is made of, how to set one up and test it, and what your team sees when they open the chat panel. You'll leave ready to put an agent in front of your staff with confidence.
