Steve has helped thousands of churches implement best practices for screening and training staff and volunteers over the years with both of his companies, SecureSearch Comprehensive Background Checks and Safeguard from Abuse child abuse prevention training. Steve and his wife, Laura, live in sunny Florida and have 4 kids and 2 grandbabies. 5% of all company profits are donated to charities that benefit at-risk children and youth.
