Shoulder the Boulder Published Feb 17, 2015 From the beginning we knew that the success of Rock was dependent upon a strong active community. As Rock was developed there was always the risk that this community would not emerge to support it. These fears can now be put to rest as the Rock community, while young, is healthy. Thereʼs a lot of evidence of community growth. The success of the Rock Q&A and new community partners program are two. Today we'd like to highlight another community success, the formation of a community-focused blog entitled Shoulder the Boulder. This blog was created by Arran France, a Rock community member from the UK. After watching our latest video podcast he stepped up by creating this new blog. This new blog is not 'his' blog itʼs 'your' blog. From the first post you can learn how you can contribute to this new blog. You might be thinking, "Whatʼs the difference between this blog and the community blog?" We see it this way: Rock Blog: The primary place for official Rock announcements and news items. Shoulder the Boulder: Community-run blog for sharing tips and lessons learned. This is a great place to share your roll-out plans and progress as well as the ways you're applying Rock in your organizations. We encourage you to do two things right now: Add this new blog to your RSS feed or reading list. Actively think of an article you can submit to this new blog. Each person reading this post has something valuable to add. Don't rob the community of the value you have to share. To share a lesson you've learned or a tip you've discovered email Arran.
