Ministry brand colors don’t always translate well to dark mode in Rock Mobile. When those colors are automatically placed on darker backgrounds, like Onboarding, the default “primary” options can lose contrast and become hard to see. That’s not the experience we want for someone opening the app for the first time.
There are a few ways we could approach this. One option is to introduce a dedicated dark mode color scheme, where we explicitly define how primary and brand colors should translate in dark mode instead of relying on automatic inversion or reuse. This would give designers and developers control over contrast, accessibility, and visual hierarchy in dark contexts.
Also, .dark-mode support is either missing or hard to find in the current styling documentation. Making this class clearly documented and easy to discover would go a long way toward helping developers build components that are actually dark-mode aware.
