Any plans to add Markdown as a page editor?

Are there any plans to add a Markdown web page editor?

This would assist in the development of online documentation.

This would give three web page editing options: (1) Code editor, (2) HTML editor, (3) Markdown editor.

I'm looking at implementing something similar to the Ghost editor as that's what STB has been running on so far. If that doesn't work then I'll try out TinyMCE.
