Is it possible to pull data from the program and link it to the church website.

 

Example:

If there is an open spot in a group. I would like to show the open spot on our website. Is this possible?

    This is certainly possible and in fact, it's how Rock works.  Everything you see on the screen is simply a Rock "block" that pulls data and displays it for you.

    I am actively working to move certain information, such as our tutorials, from our developer wiki to a more organized and simplified set of guides here on this site.  In the mean time you can check out the Fetching Data block tutorial to see a simple example of this sort of thing.

    EDIT: I should have mentioned that the Rock core will eventually have such a block that does something similar to what you're looking for.  Exactly how it looks and behaves has not been set in stone yet, but it could look something similar to the group locator CCV created several years ago.
