0 Can Rock run on Windows Server 2008 (not Windows Server 2008 R2) 2 Hock_Hin Lee posted 8 Years Ago Windows Server 2008 (not R2) is the last server version for 32bit hardware. Windows 2008 R2 and onwards require 64 bit hardware. I am trying to install Rock on a 32 bit hardware. The Rock Solid Internal Hosting manual mentions Windows Server 2008 (not distinguishing R2 and non-R2 version.) From the table on .Net history in Wikipedia .Net 3.5 is for Windows Server 2008 R2. I have installed Windows Server 2008, did all the system prompted upgrades and cannot Find/Add the .Net Framework 3.5.1 Features. I can only find the .Net Framework 3.0 Features Is there a way forward from where I am?
