Managing documents

Taking as an example the Background Document Check from the Demo site. If I upload a background check document this year but next year I need to upload a new one. Did the system delete the first one? How the system manage the documents?

Correct. As of now the document would be overwritten. Rock does not store (at this time) previous attachments of values for person attributes. You could create another attribute for the new year though. Something like 2015 Background Check , 2016 Background Check, etc.
