Best Practice to import a CSV database from old CHMS

What is the process to import my database CSV from my past CHMS? Sorry for the entry level questions here but I'm lost. Thanks!

Excavator is not built and maintained by the core Rock developers, thus your best bet for problems with it is to report your issue here https://github.com/NewSpring/Excavator/issues

Since we don't use Fellowship One and don't need CSV import here, I haven't even tried it myself to know it's quirks... but I do know others have used it successfully. Perhaps one of those will see this and chime in with some suggestions as well.

Rock cannot import data itself. There is currently only one tool (that I'm aware of) that can import data into Rock via CSV, which you can find here https://github.com/NewSpring/Excavator

It's probably not quite as simple as you're looking for, but should work if you follow the instructions.

I just tried to use the excavator and it crashed. I installed Rock 2.0. Could that be a problem

Definitely post the bug in the Excavator issues page- my experience was that the Excavator developers were very responsive and helpful. We did the .csv import and it worked brilliantly.

I haven't had time to test it against the 2.0 release so there's probably a database change that broke the save. I will try to push a fix within a couple of days.
