We are really looking forward to some of the new features/fixes in ROCK 3.0. Is there any word on a release date?

Hey Andrew,

I think the developers are taking the "It will be ready when it's ready" approach and aren't offering definitive release dates at this point. The great part is that they aren't on a tight schedule to push out features that aren't fully vetted. If you'd like to get an idea of where 3.0 is at right now you can check out Rock's Trello board which outlines the completion status of all the updates. I know I've been checking back often in anticipation of the next release. :)

I'd guestimate sometime in the next 2-4 weeks as a safe bet though.

I've heard that it's a couple weeks from alpha and beta testing, so depending on how long that takes, I would agree with Jeremy.

Hopefully you also saw the '3.0 docs are ready' announcement made via @TheRockRMS twitter account (https://twitter.com/TheRockRMS/status/578231166693556224), and as of yesterday, Rock McKinley 3.0 (and 3.1) is now fully released.
