Delayed Emails

I believe this issue started after updating to 3.0 but emails seem to be delayed 40-45 minutes before being sent out.  I found a default delay setting of 30 minutes in the Send Communications job and changed it to 1 minute which helped.  Now the delay is only 8-10 minutes.  How can I fix this so emails go out immediately?

    What transport are you using SMTP or Mandrill? Also if you keep your delay at 1 minute you'll want to upgrade to 3.2 as soon as possible (published today). Other wise you may get some duplicate emails.

      Thanks Jon.  It seems that the Send Communications job is delaying emails twice.  Once using the Delay option and then with the frequency of the job running (10 minutes by default).  By changing the cron express to 3 minutes and lowering the delay I can send emails almost instantly.
