Dashboard Stark

Hi

The documentation says "While dashboard blocks can be placed on any page in Rock we do ship with a special theme designed for dashboards called Dashboard Stark. "

Do i have to create a new site to use this theme? as im not sure you can assign a page a specific them??

    Hi Dillan,

    Indeed - you can create a new Site such as "http://dashboard.mychurchname.tld" and set the theme to be Dashboard Stark.  

    From there, you could setup your page of metrics as well as a link back to your internal site; in your internal site, you might setup a link to the Dash site.  (i.e. they link back and forth)

    I haven't tried this, but you could see if it works to copy the ~/Themes/DashboardStark/Layouts/Main.aspx file (and related theme files) into your ~/Themes/Rock/Layouts/ directory so that you can use it within your other theme, but this idea might turn into a can of worms . . . . .
