Deleting a Campus

We created a campus as a test but would like to delete it now. However when we try to do that Rock always warns us that the campus is part of a group and cannot be deleted. Wondering where we can remove the campus from this "group" so that it can be deleted.

    Have you created any groups via People | Group Viewer? When you create a new group you can assign it to a campus, and I'm guessing that's what's happened.

      Hi Jim,


      Turns out it's a family, (which is a group in the backend). We created a test family in the second campus as a test. I pulled it out using a dataview, changed the campus, and now can delete the test campus.
