Checkin - How's it going?

I've been poking around the Rock RMS website to find some info about check-in / label printing.  I'm looking into RRMS to support a church in my community.  Is the label printing partially functional / beta?  Have folks using RRMS been using it?  How's it working? 

I'm VERY interested in this project, and I'd love to help.  I'm a coding newb, but love to learn.

    I'm not aware of anyone outside of the core developers who are messing with check-in, yet. You can see it in action at the rock.rocksolidchurchdemo.com site, but of course can't see anything print there. The Work Flow for checkin is in place in the beta (and looks really powerful), but it hasn't really been exposed in the UI yet, nor has the documentation been released on how to configure it. Since you mentioned being interested in developing, you might also be interested in the checkin "guts" documentation here.

    I've been working on the check-in docs over the last few nights. We're really close to having it ready for final proofing. Should be ready in about 2 weeks. Can't wait for you guys to jump in there and give us some feedback!

      Very excited to see this. I have just installed RockRMS for a church I do side work with so they can start poking around and learning it. Their main goal/first application they are interested in is checkin. Very cool!
