Privacy Policy

I would be very interested in reviewing (and appreciative of your willingness to share) your church's privacy policy (links would be great!).  Specifically, I need best practices help from churches that are using Rock RMS tools such as the Group Leader Toolbox where personally identifiable information about group participants is shared online.

      Thanks Jon. The Group Toolbox is a particularly troublesome matter for me from a privacy perspective. We definitely want to take advantage of the tool, but also want to accurately (yet succinctly) describe how information is shared with group leaders. Is it safe to assume that, since CCV's privacy policy does not address that functionality, they are not using the Group Leader Toolbox?

        Thanks Jon. Last order of the day... where can I find more information about cookie behavior with Rock's External Site (our public facing web site), assuming we make no changes to the functionality.

          Pretty standard use of cookies to remember logged in users as they move from page to page and between sessions.

          Hey Dave!

          We used the same lawyer as Jon Edmiston to craft our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Our biggest modification was to create a policy that covered all of our sites and apps since we use data from Rock across sites/apps.
