how can I see how Registrations and Calendar options look externally?

I don't believe there are any Registrations on the demo web site, but you can add your own registrations/calendar items via (rock.rocksolidchurchdemo.com) and then see them on the demo public web site by clicking the External Website link within the demo site. Keep in mind that the default look is very basic and intended to be styled... you can do pretty much anything you want with CSS and Lava to change the presentation.
