DJ Grick 10 years ago Jon, That's awesome news. I didn't realize it was on the eventual list.I know you are still defining what it will look like but do you know as of now if it's just audio or if there will be video provisions also.
Jon Edmiston 10 years ago We'll definitely need to support both audio and video. We need to be able to support the needs of our church's podcasting (http://www.ccvonline.com/watch) but have some ideas about adding to it to make it reusable outside of the traditional 'podcast' box.
Jim Michael 10 years ago One of the things we have extended our "podcast" module to do (www.wcrossing.org/media) is to generate the XML that our Roku channel relies on, so that uploading the video (to Vimeo Pro in our case) and audio is only done once and is then available on all of our platforms automatically. While we have the dev ability to do this again in Rock, it would be nice to have such functionality out of the box ;-) Maybe we could all discuss what the killer podcast block looks like at CITRT ;-)
