Rock Version Update preparation

In addition to RockDB backup, what other files should be backed up (and how) before a Rock version update?

I am thinking that I should backup files on the webserver.

Currently on v6.1 - should there be any 'lag' between version updates, or just update to 6.2 then 6.3, etc.

Yes, it's always a good idea to back up the Rock web server files... but you should be doing that routinely, not just to prepare for an update ;-) HOW you do that is entirely dependent on where you Rock server is hosted. It could be integrated with your current backup strategy, or a simple FTP grab of the entire directory structure for Rock.

You don't need to wait between updates... apply one, let Rock restart, do the next, etc.
