We've never used a check scanner with a database before. We purchased and configured the Canon CR-50 appropriately for Rock, and it's working.

However, thinking through the methodology, the following question came up:

• What do you do if the scanner jams or has some error that keeps it from completing the scan for everything in the hopper

Do you?

1. Run the whole stack through again?
2. Run just the checks through that had an issue

What's your strategy for handling this situation? How do you even see this problem, or has it happened to you?
