Small Group Notes

Hi all!

We are transitioning over to Rock RMS from Planning Center and creating our 300+ small groups (aka community groups or bible study groups which meet on a regular basis) this week. We want to have a "GROUP NOTE" feature attached to each individual small group like we had in Planning Center to have our Groups Volunteer Staff be able to make custom notes as small groups are updated or have leadership changes, etc. What is the best way to do this in RMS? I did a Google Search and it suggests a "Memo" in the Group Attributes area OR using "Rock's Built-in Notes Engine". Which option will allow us to make notes for each individual small groups and access/view them from the small group details page along with their meeting information and other specific group attributes?

    The built in notes would be your best solution, if you use a memo it will overwrite every time, where as notes will add a new note allowing you to keep a history.  

    You will need to do 2 things:

    1. Add a note type for small groups or whatever you want

    2. Add the notes block to the page.
