Additional Ad Rotator page

I am trying to setup another Ad Rotator Page and can not seem to get the sub Ads to work properly.  It is showing the Main Ad in the sub-Ad area, along with the sub-ads.  And it is showing th esub Ads in the Main Area. How can I get it to go away?  Any ideas?

Hey Don, those filter IDs are located under: Admin Tools > General Settings > Defined Types > Audience Types If you're adding new pages and want to keep the content unique in each section the audience types are the perfect tool for that. That said, it is possible to go overboard. The secondary filter level really helps one Ad be used all over the place. There are some great (church related) types already there, but if those don't exactly fit your needs, you might also consider them more as a topic category for ads than audience. Hope that helps!

Sounds like you may not have a filter for 'Primary Audience.' If you add that filter, it will only include items having the selected primary audience.

Yes, the Primary Audiance on the Main Ad area is set to "HomePage - Rotator" and the sub Ads are set to "HomePage - Sub-Ads".  No Secondary Audiance is set.

Is the filter set to show when ALL or ANY are true?

Yes, but I only see that option for the main Ad page.  I must not know what I am doing here.  I tried to set it up exactly how the Main Home Page is setup.  I went through all of the steps again and now the Main Ad is showing properly, but none of the Sub-Ads are visable.  Also, now the new Ads that I setup for my new page are showing on the Home page.  I have obviously got them crossed up somewhere.  Are there any insturctions for creating this pages?

I think it has something to do with the Filter ID, but I am not sure where that is.  Now my Home page is messed up.  It is showing All Ads in the Main Ad area.

The Designing and Building Website Using Rock Manual does a great job dissecting and explaining the Content Channels (what powers the Ads).  Here's a link straight to that section, maybe it will help?  http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/14/38#customcontent

Thanks, I read through that.  I still have one question regarding the filter IDs on the Block Properties for the AD blocks.  What is that and where does it come from?  I used the same Filer IDs on my new page as the existing home page and I think that is what caused everything to get crossed up between the 2 pages.

Do I need Filter IDs on my new page and if so, where do the IDs come from?

Thanks Trey.  I think what happened is that I was trying to match the setting of this new page with the existing home page and changed the ID.  After I removed the page and stared over, i did not touch the ID that the system created/added for that page and everything is working great.
