Mailing Labels

Is there a quick, easy way to print mailing labels for all attendees?

    Hi Crystal,

    In the current version of Rock (v3.3) there is no easy way to do this.
    The best method is probably to create a Report that contains the People and addresses you need, and then export the result to Excel.
    You can use this Excel file to perform a merge in Microsoft Word or some other document processor that allows merging data with a template.

    The next release of Rock (v4) has a Merge Templates feature that will do exactly what you need - it allows you to run a Word merge directly from Rock, and I believe one of the standard templates will be for mailing labels.

    In case any other newbie is looking for this, here is how you would create mailing labels for families:

    Go to Admin → General Settings → Merge Templates

    Download the sample Word template that for mailing labels (Mailing Labels - Home Address...). Replace all " {{ Row.FullName }}" with "The {{ Row.LastName }} Family" and upload this as a new Merge Template.
