SUMMARY OF POSITION:The CRM Engineer will primarily be responsible for developing and leveraging ministry tools within Rock RMS (an open-source church management tool) to empower all of our ministries at Echo.Church. We’re looking for a CRM Engineer who will be responsible for the development, process integration, and configuration of Rock RMS. This role will report to the Connections Director. You must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, while also having the technical skills necessary to develop, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot required systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design & implement features within Rock RMS a. Build, configure, and test Rock RMS features, processes, and workflows to automate processes b. Understand ministry needs and communicate with stakeholders regarding projects c. Assist with software upgrades 2. Provide technical ministry support a. Provide great customer service to Echo.Church staff and volunteers b. Troubleshoot technical issues and develop a prioritized action plan for resolution c. Receive and analyze end‐user feedback and determine an appropriate course of action based on that feedback d. Be the main support contact for Rock RMS within a fast-paced organization 3. Documentation & Analysis a. Complete technical documentation for new projects b. Regularly communicate project status reports, results, and learnings. Analyze projects to glean insights for strategically shaping future efforts 4. Build & equip teams a. Identify, engage, empower, and care for volunteers to accomplish large projects b. Communicate and train others on the benefits of software upgrades and new feature releases 5. Other responsibilities as assigned a.
