The Technology Support Specialist will have broad responsibilities related to technical support and customer service.Hardware/Software SupportAssists in all assigned technology and research projectsInstall, configure and support school applications on teacher and student devices (Apple devices, Chromebooks and Windows)Provides configuration and support for all computing peripherals such as printers, monitors, scanners, interactive smart boards and other equipment as necessaryConfigure VoIP hardware and softwareAccount creation and management (Google, MS, Securely, GSuite, O365)Tracks inventory and performs lifecycle management of all IT equipmentMaintains compliance with software/hardware licensing and inventoryProvides software installations and updates through MDM solution (Mosyle)Helpdesk / Ticket SystemAnswers and responds to Help Desk requests in a timely manner; maintains current ticket information in the ticketing systemCloses requests in the ticket tracking system within one business day of completionAudio/Visual SupportSet-up equipment for presentations and live broadcasts according to procedures established by the Technology DepartmentSupports interactive boards and their projectors as well as standard LCD projectorsOtherAbides to Core Values of Adventure Christian School https://www.adventurechristianschool.org/core-valuesAdheres to school and departmental policies and proceduresMaintains technology standards as set by the IT DepartmentMaintains confidentiality and integrity of all data accessed while performing the duties of the positionOther duties as required
