One of the first things that I had to re-configure when we made the switch to ROCK was our personalized prayer email.  We had been 'condensing' our prayer requests that we receive via connect cards and our prayer and care room into a few short words in order to personalize the email that got sent out every week.  So, instead of the email saying simply "we are praying for you this week" it would say specifically "we are praying for your upcoming surgery', with the 'your upcoming surgery' part coming from our staff condensing that from the larger amount of text that someone actually wrote on the connect card.  We started this after a big push one Sunday with people submitting connect cards but saw the impact it had when we continued to do it each weekend.  

One of the first things you need to do in order for this to work properly is you need to have a prayer attribute added, for our case, we used Condensed Prayer:


After that is the workflow itself.  We technically have 4 workflows (one for each campus) with them triggering based on the campus that is selected (more on that later).  But for the sake of this recipe, I will only be using our Tyrone campus as an example.
