Communication Expiration

We ran into this problem last night...had an email that needed approval to go out...approved the email but only about half went out successfully and the rest failed with this message
'Communication was not sent before the expire window (possibly due to delayed approval).'
Is there an expiration date somewhere that is defaulted to cause this and how can we change this? thanks

    There is  Expiration Period on the Send Communications job that controls this. By default it is only 3 days, but you can make it as long as you need... we have ours set to 15 days. There is also a bug fixed where emails saved as drafts were being incorrectly mis-calculated against this timer https://github.com/SparkDevNetwork/Rock/issues/3537
