AD Authentication with Azure?

Has anyone had success using AD Authentication on an Azure VM? We are having problems getting Azure and AD to talk with each other.

I have it working on Azure websites. We have a read-only AD server on prem that replicates from our normal setup and is accessable from the internet. We just pointed Rock to that and everything works great. Are you trying to authenticate against an Azure directory?

Well our network team was just trying to avoid creating an dc in Azure and they had concerns about making our AD server accessible via the internet....thanks for the response!
