We are just starting to look at entering contributions in Rock. I played a bit with scanning with one of my personal checks and everything went fine. Now we are trying to scan a batch of checks from this weekend and are running into a problem. We have checks where there are multiple spaces in the MICR account number printed on the check. These are not scanning into Rock properly. It tells us there is a problem with the bank information and then has the account number, routing number and check number showing in Rock are only part of the number on the actual check. I scanned one of the checks into the Ranger software and it shows the start/end charaters for each number and the correct information. Has anyone else ran into this? Or have anything I can try? We just scanned about 12 checks and 4 had this problem and they are from 3 of the larger banks in our area so this is going to be a huge problem for us.
