Left sidebar - child pages - not in 1 row - HELP

I'm trying to configure multiple child pages on the left sidebar.


What I have is like this:   Both child pages side by side.  I don't want it this way.

What I want is like the default connect page:  All the child pages are in one row, one per row.

I've looked at the settings of the SubNav block and I have duplicated them.  So I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong.


Someone please help.

    first go into the menu block properties 

    step 1.png


    then scroll down to Template and change as follows

    {% include '~~/Assets/Lava/PageSubNav.lava' %}

    actual location of this lava file may vary but it should be located there. 

    I also recommend setting the root page if you haven't done this already. the root should be the parent of the pages you wish to display.
