10 Years of RX and We Can’t Wait for More! Published Sep 3, 2024 RX24 might be over, but we're still enjoying the great moments from this fantastic event. Here are some of the highlights. New Check-In System Tired of QR codes and complicated check-in setups? Rock has been working to make things easier. This year, we introduced a new check-in system using NFC tokens, the Rock Mobile App and wireless label printing. Just tap your phone on the NFC token and your name tag prints right away. The best part? Watching attendees get excited as their names appeared on the big screen with check-in celebrations! We're still making a few tweaks, but we're looking forward to rolling this out more widely soon. (Rock) Solid Pre-Day 74% of the 662 RX attendees checked in during our Pre-Day. It was a great chance for community-building and learning technical best practices on a variety of topics from our presenters. At the Pre-Night Kick-Off event, comedian Mike Goodwin had us all laughing. His performance set the stage for an inspiring talk by Jon Edmiston. Jon encouraged us to think about the type of warriors we are and how we can keep building the Kingdom, no matter what our strengths. If you missed this event, we highly recommend catching up on it! RX24 Days The main conference days were packed with energy and activity. We had two keynote addresses, 101 breakout sessions, fun community lunches, and over 300 gallons of coffee consumed. Seriously...you can hear more about that on our RX24 Recap Podcast. A highlight was the "Birds of a Feather" event on Wednesday night, where some rooms were so full we'll need bigger spaces next year. The community lunches, where we shuffled seating to encourage mingling, were also a big hit. When we say we're a community, we truly mean it. Looking Ahead Thereʼs so much more to say about RX24, but Jon Edmiston summed it up well: "This is God’s conference." It was clear that God was at work, connecting people throughout the event. We were also thrilled to see many first-time attendees who have ministry roles rather than technical roles, showing that churches are seeing the ministry impact of Rock and are bringing more team members to learn and grow. If you missed RX24, you can still check out the content. Subscribe to the RX24 content on the Rock community site so your team has access all the breakout sessions and past conference content. We can't wait to see you at RX25! (More details on that coming soon...)
