Ending Support for Windows Server 2012

Microsoft continues to bring significant new features for Windows Server. Their Windows Server 2019 is a good example of their innovation leadership. You can read about many of the features on their website.

We know that upgrading your Windows Server environment is not fun and can have costs associated with it. With that knowledge we attempt to be very slow to require the newer versions (though it’s hard to resist the temptation of the newer features). We’re at the point however, where we need to start communicating sunsetting support for Windows Server 2012. For those still on 2012, we want to give you plenty of time to update. We are planning on dropping support for Windows Server 2012 as of October 2023. While this sounds like a long way away, for your planning we would suggest that you be ready by January 1, 2023.
