Five Reasons You Need to Attend RX2022 Published Jun 29, 2022 Things are heating up around here, and not only because it’s summertime in Phoenix. We are hard at work putting together another incredible Rock Experience! If you’ve been to RX, you know we pack our two-day flagship event full of invaluable content and meaningful connections. This year is proving to be no different. We are setting the bar even higher to create our best RX yet. We’re excited to see how things are shaping up, and we want to share some insights with you to get you excited, too. Without further ado, here are five reasons you need to attend RX2022. 1. Free Best Practices Workshop This year we’re offering a free Best Practices Workshop on September 12th, the day before RX2022 begins. The workshop will cover a range of topics, including best practices, SQL, Lava, and troubleshooting. The topics covered will be more technical that our average conference content, but you don’t have to be a programmer to attend. If you’re wanting to sharpen your skills and go deeper into Rock knowledge, you don’t want to miss this workshop. The content covered will not be included in our post-conference content subscription. The only way to gain this valuable information is to attend RX2022! To learn more, visit our RX2022 website. 2. RX2022 Kickoff Event After our free Best Practices Workshop on September 12th, we’ll be officially kicking off RX2022 at Dave & Busters in Westgate! Located within walking distance of the Renaissance Hotel, Dave & Buster’s is the place to go for food and entertainment. Gather with the Rock community for dinner and games at their state-of-the-art arcade. Your registration for the kickoff event includes a buffet dinner, $25 play card, and participation in Sponsor Tournaments. Visit our RX2022 website to learn more. (Note: If you’ve already registered for RX2022 and you want to add the Best Practices Workshop and Kickoff Event to your registration, please email Erin at erin@sparkdevnetwork.org.) 3. New Digital Tools & Strategies Track We’ve added a brand-new track this year, designed specifically for your digital communications team. The Digital Tools and Strategies Track is full of helpful sessions to empower your team to make connecting with your people easier and smarter. With sessions on creating QR codes, updating to a Rock website, and crafting strategies for the best email communications, your digital communications team will not want to miss this year’s conference! To view the sessions planned for the Digital Tools & Strategies Track, check out our conference schedule. 4. Rock Star Consults Do you wish you could sit down one-on-one with a Rock expert and discuss the ins-and-outs of your Rock instance? You can… if you attend RX2022! We’re offering Rock Star Consultations on Tuesday, September 13th. During the 45-minute session, you’ll be able to ask a couple of Rock Stars for advice and solutions regarding your church’s Rock instance. Registration for the Rock Star Consults only happens at the conference. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, register for RX2022 today! 5. Birds of a Feather Meetings Last year’s Birds of a Feather meetings were so successful, we’re holding them again at RX2022. From Family Ministries and Finance to IT and Database Admins, the Birds of a Feather meetings are your opportunity to connect with others in the Rock community in roles like yours. At the heart of the Rock Experience is community, and these meetings are where those deep community connections are formed. The meetings don’t require additional registration or signup, but you must attend RX2022 if you want to participate! These five reasons are only a sampling of what we’re offering at this year’s Rock Experience. And if you've attended before, you know that the community connections you build in person will power your Rock experience all year long. You don’t want to miss out this year! The conference dates are September 13th -14th, in Phoenix, AZ. If you haven’t registered yet, you can do so by visiting https://rx.rockrms.com/. And if you get in now, you’ll score our lowest ticket rate. Prices go up July 1, so don’t delay! Looking forward to seeing you there!
