New Scheduled Event Payments By Simple Donation Make It Easy Signing students up for summer camp? Have a trip to the Holy Land planned? Signing kids up for Motherʼs Day Out? Preparing for the next Christian school year? Planning a marriage get-away conference? High-cost event registrations can be challenging to manage in RockRMS. The tools are all there, but when the cost of an event is in the hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars, managing the payments can be a hassle both internally and for the person paying for the event. To solve this problem, Simple Donation built a customizable way for the Rock community to handle multiple payments by setting a payment schedule. Not only is this extremely helpful for high cost events, but it can also be used to create a subscription service utilizing the already powerful and flexible tools inside of RockRMS Event Registration. The setup is simple: For the individual setting up the Event, they simply need to set an Attribute Value on the Event Instance to set the Schedule End Date or force No End Date (subscription) and add a few lines of code to thier confirmation text and email. The experience is simple: This new capability allows the Registrant to set a payment schedule of thier choosing based on the end date set in the Registration Instance. Payments can be set as weekly, bi-weekly, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, twice a year, or yearly, and the options can be reduced in the Event Registration instance. Like everything we do at Simple Donation to keep your overall costs low, we allow Registrants to cover the fee for the scheduled transactions when completing the Event Registration form. The follow up is simple: Along with the new ability to schedule payments, Simple Donation provides two new tools within the Event Registration experience to manage the registrants and their payments. Two new filterable report pages exist to view any Scheduled Payments on an Event Registration as well as a list of Outstanding Balances for those who didn't set up a Scheduled Payment. What else is simple?
