Checkbox Option for Boolean Field Types

When I picture a boolean field  type, the first thing I think of is a checkbox. It took me a while to realize that the only way to get a single checkbox was to create a multi-select field type and only add one option. It would make a lot more sense to have an option to change the boolean field type to display as a checkbox instead of a dropdown.
