Modify Phone Number Click to Dial Link on Mobile

We are using the FreePBX plugin. We have enabled click to dial and the phone number becomes a link that initiates the call from the server. This is great for when a user is at their desktop computer next to their extension. When a user is looking up a person on a mobile device the click to dial would use the same behavior. It will dial their extension, which is not ideal. I would love it if when on mobile it would use the built-in mobile click to call. This was discussed in an issue on GitHub. https://github.com/SparkDevNetwork/Rock/issues/2935

As Jon mentioned in the issue the ideal solution would have a block setting like the following:

Mobile Click-to-Call:

  • Use Server Click-To-Call
  • Use Mobile Device
