Error
I love the new automatic discount code system where you can set dates or registrations etc. However, I think these codes need to move from the template to the instance now. Here is an example of why from my own use.
We have an event that we have every year. We set the price of the event on the isntance to match the price of the off site event. I set up the event, got everything going, but couldn't figure out why the discount codes were not applying automatically. It turns out when I updated the discount amount I didn't update the dates for the auto-apply. I fully accept this mistake on my part, however, it got me to thinking about the general registration flow more. We should not have to change the template every year to update the discount codes when they refer to an individual instance.
