Allow Payments on Workflow Forms

Workflow

Feature Summary

Add two fields to workflow "Form" action to simply provide the functionality of taking payments via Workflows.

Suggested Form Fields

  1. Payment Required? (Checkbox)
  2. Payment Amount

Why?

There are scenarios in which taking a payment via workflow is not only helpful, but makes sense! For example, application fees for Leadership Colleges/Internships, etc. In the past, we have had to use other "Form" options, like Wufoo, to create forms with this functionality -- but we lose all the power of Rock's workflows when going this route. Using other tools instead of Rock creates a significant limitation on our digital strategies. (Because Rock is amazing!!)

If I Was Dreaming...

If I was dreaming, this feature would also provide the ability to waive the fee via "discount code" -- but at a bare minimum, allowing payments alone would be a great step in the right direction. While this functionality is technically available via Registrations, using that module in lieu of a workflow could create limitations on the processes we wish to build out.

I would suggest additional Form Fields "Allow Fee Waiving?" (Checkbox) and "Enabled Codes" (comma-separated values) as a way to work discount codes into this feature to keep it simple, but you could go a lot further with this (i.e., modeling Registration discount code functionality).
