Search Feature Recognizing Family Name

Core

We have encountered several instances where a child's last name is not the same as the family name in our system. As an example, I will use Sally Smith as mom and her daughter will be Mel Miller. Sally had Mel with a previous father and has since remarried or changed her name back to her maiden name and Mel kept dad's last name of Miller.

When searching Rock, our staff knows that mom is Sally Smith and they know the daughter is Mel so they search Rock for "Mel Smith" but she doesn't populate. It would be great if Rock could look at the Family name and suggest Mel Miller, even though that is not her last name on her profile and she does exist in a family with the last name of "Smith".

We have used the feature of "Previous Last Names" on the child's profile but this is not entirely accurate. Using my example, Mel Miller has never had the last name of Smith. It seems like Rock might look at the Family name when searching.
