Add Validation to Registration Instance Url Slug Fields to Prevent Special Characters

13.0 Event Complete

Our administrative assistants handle most of our event registrations, and as such, they are the ones creating the url slugs that are associated with each  registration instance. They know that special characters (like & and :) aren't valid, but sometimes they forget and add them anyway. The only way we catch this happening is when we get an exception email giving us the URL and that a "A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client..." What someone trying to register sees is an "That wasn't supposed to happen" message.

What would be so helpful would be to have validation on the Url Slug fields that are on the Registration Instance Linkage Detail block and the Event Registration Wizard block to prevent special characters from being added.
