Pledges 2.0

Finance

Our church uses pledges extensively with an annual campaign each fall. This year we exposed the external page to people and had some submit their pledges online.  4/5 people entered the information incorrectly.  It just wasn't clear on what fields meant what.  With this in mind, I created a web app using vue js that i think could be reimplemented in Rock Core as Pledges 2.0.  Below is a list of changes that I made to make pledges work more seemless for us.

Here are the needed Changes:

  1. Update the Frequency Schedule Defined Type to add an attribute called Integer Value - This is the number of times that particular frequency will happen in a year.  (i.e. monthy = 12, every two wees =26, twice a month = 24).

  2. Added a column to the internal pledge list screen called "Per Gift Amount" Here is the Lava

                    {% financialpledge id:'{{Row.Id}}' %}
                        {% for pledge in financialpledgeItems %}
                            {% assign divider = pledge.PledgeFrequencyValue | Attribute:'IntegerValue' %}
                            {% assign startDate = pledge.StartDate %}
                            {% assign endDate = pledge.EndDate %}
                        {% endfor %}
                    {% endfinancialpledge %}
                    {% assign datediff = startDate | DateDiff:endDate,'M' | DividedBy:'12' | Ceiling %}

                    <dic class="text-right col-xs-12">{{Row.TotalAmount | DividedBy:divider | DividedBy:datediff |  FormatAsCurrency }}</div>
  3. I created an html block with vue code to help ease pledge entry.  If the month is october or later, the prefilled dates are next year. Else it is this year.  Using the freuquency list and the newly added integer values, once a user selects a frequency and a per transaction amount, a note screen appears that summarizes the gift.  If the gift is saved it writes the pledge and then shows a button to create a giving profile(i manually created a list allowaby items for NMI I'm not sure if this is present anywehreor queryable).  I pass the pledgeid, the per transaction amount, and the frequency to a transaction entry block.

I recreated all of this on prealpha, but here is a video just in case that server resets.
