For Connection Requests - add feature to control list of available manual trigger workflows based on current Connection Request Status

14.1 Connection Complete

Currently the Available Workflows on Connection Request Detail includes all workflows setup as Manual trigger for that Connection Opportunity and Connection Opportunity Type.

There are times when it would be nice to be able to limit this list of workflows based on the current Status of the Connection Request. Say for example - when the Status is "New" - only show a "Send Welcome Email" workflow.

Or when the Status is "Evaluation" - show "Background Check" & "Request Serving Profile" workflows.

In the setup for the workflow trigger on the Connection Opportunity (or the Connection Opportunity Type) ... when Manual trigger is selected for the workflow ... prompt with a list of all the Statuses for that Connection Opportunity type and allow the user to choose which one(s) it should be available for. If none are selected then the workflow would be available for all statuses. Something like this...

We love this idea. The requirements are written up, but we had to make them a tiny bit different. We will limit the filtering to a single status (you can’t select more than one), but an individual admin could create multiple triggers with the same workflow type if needed.
