Conditional Attributes for Content Component

I was just starting to play around with Content Component and finding out how useful it is in creating different layouts for web content. But after creating 2-3 templates, I just wish that the attributes can be conditional depending on which Layout or Template is selected. So, I guess it would be nice to have this feature added.
