"Can Register" Known Relationship

It would be helpful if there was a Known Relationship that would allow individuals outside of the family to show up on a person's Family Members list on a registration. For example, if a child's grandparents are the ones who always take them to church, they can be set up with a Can Check In relationship to check in, but there isn't anything that would let them show up to register. The information could be manually added, but that's a lot of unnecessary extra work.
