System Style Color (Less) Converted to a Less Variable or Custom Properties

Hello! While working on our external site theme and wanted to use the defined colors in `~/Styles/utilities/_color.less`, unfortunately it cannot be referenced with less since the colors were hardcoded. Would be nice if those colors are converted into a variable or custom property like:

@gray-700-color: #495057;

or

--gray-700-color: #495057;
