Auto-Remove Steps by Data View

Auto-Remove Steps by Data View

Engagement

I love the ability to auto-complete steps for people who appear on a data view, but it really feels like it's missing the opposite functionality. One of the reasons we haven't used Steps very much is because there doesn't appear to be a way to automate the removal of steps.

Many of the use-cases we've come up with are for tracking a person's qualifications for a certain position or role in the church. Some of the individual qualification steps are often things that can be completed at one time, but then later on they might expire or become incomplete for one reason or another.

For example, one of the qualifications might be that the person has to be a member of the church. With the current auto-complete feature, it's easy to complete the Membership step using a data view. However, when a person is no longer a member of the church and they disappear off of the data view, there's no easy way to automate the removal of the Membership step without building custom processes of Workflows and System Jobs.

It would be great if either the existing system was updated to auto-remove steps when a person no longer appears on the "Auto-Complete Data View", or if we were given a new additional option for an "Auto-Remove Data View".
