Person Directory Block for Mobile

Person Directory Block for Mobile

Mobile

As a smaller church, we provide our members with access to a member directory to foster community and connection. Currently, our members are assigned to a security group that grants access to the web-based Person Directory page. However, as we transition our mobile app to Rock Mobile, we've encountered challenges in bringing the directory to the app while ensuring member information remains secure.

The main issue arises because there isn't a block in Rock Mobile that closely replicates the functionality of the Person Directory. To make it work, we’ve tried embedding a WebView version of the directory, but this approach requires members to sign in twice or compromises security—neither of which is ideal for a seamless user experience.

Feature Request: A dedicated "Person Directory" mobile block for Rock Mobile. This block would:

Provide a streamlined, secure way to access the directory within the app.

Ensure sensitive member information remains protected while avoiding duplicate sign-in prompts.

Enhance usability by offering a native, mobile-optimized experience.

If a solution to this already exists, I would greatly appreciate any guidance on implementing it. Thank you for considering this request to improve the mobile experience for our members!
