v17 Peer Networks - Calculate Differently for Sign-Up Groups

Engagement

In v17, the Peer Network feature is being expanded, namely calculating the network of an individual based on group membership with other people. This is currently enabled on a group type basis - i.e. each group type can behave differently in regards to Peer Networks.

I looked through the stored procedure and didn't see any mention of this, so I thought I'd add it as an idea. I would love it if the Peer Network capability was automatically enabled for the Sign-Up Group Type and any group type that inherits the Sign-Up Group Type and then calculated accordingly based on how that group type works.

Sign-Up Groups will be a container for everyone involved in any shift that the project has. The implications of this on Peer Networks is that if I enable the Peer Network feature for this group type, everyone will be considered connected to one another regardless if they worked the same shift or not.

I am proposing that the stored procedure that calculates Peer Networks be altered to account for how Sign-Ups stores the relationships for participants, that is isn't anyone in the same group but anyone in the same shift (i.e. locationId + scheduleId + groupId).
