Ability to Recall a Merge Request

I’d like to suggest adding an option for users to recall a merge request after submission. We’ve noticed that users often hit the merge button by mistake, but once the request is sent, there’s no way to retract it from the queue. There are also times when they realize it is not a duplicate record and need to alert us not to merge.

Having a recall option—whether through a time-limited undo button or an option to withdraw pending requests—would help reduce accidental merges and improve efficiency.
