It would great to have the ability to offer a member a single online session for an event that allows them to Register to Attend an Event, Register their young children for childcare for the event and include a review that lists registrations (event attendees and children for childcare) along with all costs and fees on a single page and present online credit card payment in the same session. Wait, ROCK already does this, right?
How about all the above, but with costs, allow the following additional set up options:
Event Cost per person (already there)
Childcare cost per child
Childcare cost per child with a maximum cap. per family
A single childcare cost for the family, but be able to still register separate children
A single, final cost summary review and payment entry screen that provides for the adult registration cost (if the event is not free), the childcare cost (if not fee) and the various single/multiple fees and lastly, any discounts that can be applied to both the Adult registrant and the childcare costs).
In summary, provide enhanced pricing flexibilities for per-unit with a cap or a per-family price and allow these to be set at either the Template or the Instance Level.
