About Us First Redeemer Church held its first worship service on September 29, 1996 in a converted warehouse in South Forsyth County. Since that day, God has grown our church to over 6000 members with 41 international church plants. Our current campus built in 1999 now includes a 2200 seat sanctuary, Student and Family Center and a Children’s Building with a large area for Children’s Worship and dedicated space for small groups to meet. We have two Sunday morning large group gatherings: a Contemporary Worship Service (band and worship team) and a Blended Worship Service (orchestra and choir). Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Jeff Jackson, preaches in all services with engaging sermons geared toward believers, while also making the gospel clear for non-believers. Though we were unaware in our early days, the Lord had a plan. Forsyth County’s population is growing at a rapid rate and remains one of the fastest growing counties in the county. Many families are moving into our county both for Atlanta jobs as well as our local school system. God has given us an amazing opportunity to live out our mission statement, which is to win, baptize, teach, and disciple every person possible by every means possible until the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a Southern Baptist Convention church, we hold doctrinally to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
